The Central Children’s Store on Lubyanka is a legendary children’s store built in 1957 by an outstanding Soviet architect Alexei Dushkin.
The department store sold various items for children of all ages.
Opened after a global reconstruction in 2015, the store retained its historical appearance and architectural concept.
The Central Children’s Store on Lubyanka is one of the symbols of Moscow, recognized as an object of cultural heritage of regional significance.

MUSEUM
The Childhood Museum in CCS on Lubyanka opened in March 2015 after a comprehensive reconstruction of the store, and immediately became a center of attraction for Muscovites and guests of the capital.
The exposition consists of more than 1000 exhibits. These are children’s items and toys of the 50's — 80's, which you could once buy in the store: the first Russian teddy bears, dolls, wind-up models, cars, books and much more.
Adult visitors to the museum will surely find their favorite toys on its shelves, and young guests will get to know the symbols of their parents' and grandparents' childhood.

The observation deck of the CCS offers a panoramic view of the historical center of Moscow: the Kremlin, the Polytechnic Museum, Lubyanka Square and the spire of Moscow State University’s main building.

After 9:30 p.m. visitors are not allowed to enter the Childhood Museum and the Observation Deck.

Ticket with an open date, valid on any day when the Museum and the Deck are open.
